Codal Account Manager Overview

We have an immediate opportunity for an Account Manager at our Chicago location. This role on sales team involves maintaining relationships in our existing client base, and creating new relationships within our target markets.

The Account Manager will represent the entire range of Codal products and services to assigned customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met by the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Reaching out to prospective customers and outbound marketing (cold-email / calls)
  • Establishes productive relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  • Coordinates the involvement of cross-functional personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
  • Responding to RFP’s and RFQ’s
  • Meets assigned revenue targets for profitable business relationships
  • Travel for meetings, trade shows, any necessary events.
  • Creating lists of Codal’s target markets, and contact information
  • Creating / collecting all respective marketing material for potential clients
  • Brainstorm new sales strategies and campaigns
  • Work with marketing team on selective campaign outreaches
  • Watch for constant business opportunities for Codal, across all channels

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Previous sales experience - in a B2B service-industry preferred
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills required.
  • Ability to build productive working relationships internally and externally and work as a team.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
