Job Summary   

Codal is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing HR team. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will develop ongoing talent pipelines for technical positions and identify strong candidates for open roles across the organization.  You will be responsible for partnering with hiring managers within Engineering, Product, QA, and UX/UI Design to create hiring plans and scale their teams. 

You will be responsible for managing all staffing operations for the company, including managing candidate pipelines, reporting on candidate status,, implementing innovative and proactive recruiting processes/practices, and hiring the highest-performing technical talent. This role will be 100% dedicated to the end-to-end life cycle of recruitment.  The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with a passion for building teams.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide hands-on, full-cycle recruiting support for critical, hard-to-fill technical positions
  • Working with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and help draft job postings to attract the right candidates
  • Source, engage, and evaluate top-tier technical, product, creative talent
  • Building a pipeline of diverse candidates to fill current and future needs of the organization
  • Pre-screen candidates over the phone, drive the interview process, and follow-up with hiring managers for feedback
  • Managing candidate pipeline and communication process to ensure that there is a positive candidate experience, regardless of outcome
  • Managing applicant tracking system data and inform the team of overall recruitment status and progress
  • Drive offer process, including generating and extending offers, and closing candidates 
  • Work with leaders to build out structured interview processes to ensure a fair and equitable process for each candidate 
  • Assisting HR Manager with the onboarding process to ensure each candidate is ready and excited to start 


  • 3+ years experience in a recruiting role for a high-growth tech startup (in-house experience preferred) 
  • Successful history of staffing positions at all project levels and experience with all phases and roles of a Software Development Lifecycle 
  • Ability to speak comfortably to basic tech stack architecture, front-end, and back-end engineering profiles as well as testing roles
  • Flexible with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment - priorities are constantly shifting, and we stay agile to adjust and support our business needs
  • Experience hiring diverse technical talent
  • Proven track record of sourcing and closing candidates, including passive candidates
  • Experience sourcing candidates on LinkedIn and other social media platforms
  • Experience negotiating with and closing candidates
