 Job Summary 

Codal is seeking an innovative eCommerce Strategist to join us in our Chicago headquarters. In this role, you will manage relationships with unique, cutting-edge eCommerce brands across numerous industries. 

You’ll develop and deploy strategic eCommerce improvement roadmaps, backed by extensive user research and data. You will serve as a point person for our clients, as well as Codal’s internal eCommerce specialists. To be successful in this role, we’ll need you to have a background in eCommerce strategy, with a solid understanding of UX best practices and the ability to demonstrate ROI through data.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop and execute on innovative eCommerce strategies for Codal’s diverse client base
  • Oversee eCommerce strategy development across multiple touch points, including websites, apps, product launches, in-store digital experiences, and more
  • Manage the creation of user personas, user journey maps, user stories, use cases, and more to help connect the dots across product teams and deliver superior customer experiences
  • Collaborate with engineers to discuss technical strategy including infrastructure, edge cases, business requirements and user stories.
  • Speak with clients to understand business requirements and translating those into design and technical requirements.

 

Requirements  

  • 5+ years experience in an eCommerce marketing role with an emphasis on strategy development  
  • Experience with Shopify, BigCommerce, and Magento 
  • Experience in defining the direction, experience, functionality, and marketing services of either a new or existing online offering
  • Experience in forecasting, merchandising strategy, and user journeys
  • Ability to use data to optimize all aspects of the customer experience, including promotion, checkout flow, order management, and more
  • Experience taking test and learn approaches to predict impact and deploy superior eCommerce solutions
